Day Twenty Eight

Well this was my first non plan day run technically. It didn't go so well.

In fact, it was pretty darn crappy. So crappy that I couldn't bring myself to write the blog.

It was just a long day, I wore pants for the first time as opposed to shorts, I got home from work at 7pm, I hadn't eaten dinner, the treadmill is so boring, etc, etc, etc. Excuse after excuse after excuse. Oddly enough though I think I'm ok with it. There is a chance I pushed myself a little too hard the past two weeks or so. After my 3.25 mile graduation run I think I deserved a little break. I'm also considering being ok with slight walking on Sunday. I'm thinking something like one or two 15 second walk breaks. My goal is none. But if I am not going to make it or something... than I'm giving myself permission to be devastated. Well I might still be devastated.

So on Thursday or Friday I'm hoping to do a 30-35 min run. Then on Sunday it's the BIG DAY. It's ironic that "the big day" will be over at 9am.
